Leif GW Persson comments on the video that Margaux Dietz posted on her social media this weekend. In the video, the influencer can be seen laughingly filming a drunken and beaten-up man lying outside the door of her home. According to GW, the publication could lead to prosecution.
– It has been a crime since 2018. It is an illegal violation of privacy. You must not film him in this vulnerable context and spread the film like she did. She spreads disparaging information about that person. That is the basis for prosecution, explains GW.
The penalty is up to two years in prison. But a case like this has so far never been tried, and no preliminary investigation has been initiated.
GW thinks that Dietz’s judgment should be called into question:
– She has a long way to go before the Good Samaritan, notes the professor.
