On May 20, 1970, Ulla Höglund disappears in Södertälje. 14 days later, she is found dead under a fir tree, about 7-8 kilometers outside the city center after an anonymous and very detailed phone call to the police.
Immediately after the discovery of Ulla’s body, her now dead husband is detained and charged on loose grounds. The husband is later released thanks to the then newly appointed public prosecutor Holger Romander, whereupon the case was later dropped.
