That the Swedish Hollywood wife Gunilla Persson have competed in the Melodifestivalen 2024 probably couldn’t escape anyone. Ever since Gunilla Persson set foot on Swedish soil again, she has created headlines.

But Gunilla’s debt is now resolved and she has also recovered what the Bailiff took in the seizure.
When Gunilla stood on the Melodifestivalen stage in Växjö to perform her contribution I Won’t Shake (La La Gunilla) during the third part of the competition, the expectations for the favorite Gunilla were high. But there was no final place for Gunilla, who went to the semi-finals – but went out.
Carolina Norén which leads The Swedish peak on Sveriges Radio was impressed by Gunilla Persson’s performance.
For 26 years, she has seen debutantes on stage – and she says that Gunilla seemed confident when she got up there to rehearse her song.
– I have only taken three or four singing lessons, Gunilla Persson then revealed to Svensktoppen’s Carolina Norén.

Although there was no final place in Mello for Gunilla Persson, she has succeeded in another feat. Her Mello contribution has indeed found its way onto the Svensktoppen – and is now in second place, close behind Benjamin Ingrosso here Kite.

This means that Gunilla Persson’s I Won’t Shake (La La Gunilla) is also ahead of artists like Peg Parnevik, Zara Larsson, Viktor Leksell, Loreen and Miss Snusk.
