The Swedish Hollywood wife Gunilla Persson65, is very much in the news as a contestant in Melodifestivalen 2024. After being hospitalized in her hometown of Los Angeles, she has, after a lot of ups and downs, managed to get to Swedish soil.
When she landed at Arlanda, she made her entrance sitting in a wheelchair and with her face covered by a mask.
For The Express Gunilla told me that she still has fainting spells.
– Still have fainting spells and it’s worst when I get up, Gunilla told the newspaper.

Gunilla Persson accuses Mauri Hermundsson of “mistreatment” after food poisoning
But the latest big fight that Gunilla Persson is in the middle of is the one with the media profile Mauri Hermundsson.
It was after Mauri visited Gunilla in Los Angeles for a television feature that all hell broke loose. Gunilla was not happy with how she was portrayed in the TV show and believed that Mauri deliberately tried to poison her food. The latest bid in that tangle is that Gunilla Persson is considering suing Mauri for assault for the food incident.

It is of course not the celebrities that Gunilla Persson seems to have a lot of things with in our long country. When Gunilla and the daughter Erika Persson this weekend, TV4 visited to be interviewed in Nyhetsmorgon, so Gunilla published a post on Instagram in which the criminologist Leif GW Persson appeared in a picture.

The origin of the disagreement is that Leif GW Persson has commented over the years when Gunilla Persson got into trouble with justice. It concerns, among other things, that the insurance fund won a lawsuit against Gunilla in 2018, which meant that she would have to pay back approximately SEK 400,000 that she had been paid by the insurance fund. When Leif GW Persson then commented on the whole thing, he said that Gunilla should be “arrested and prosecuted” and that she “in view of the danger of flight must sit in jail”. GW’s words pissed off Gunilla fly. In a comment to The evening paper she then said:
– He will have to pay for going with these lies. I will contact the police now. My goal will be to have him serve a prison sentence for gross defamation, she said at the time.
That same year, Gunilla was arrested by police in Palm Beach after being suspected of stealing a pair of sunglasses from the luxury store Chanel. When Leif GW Persson commented on the theft accusations against Gunilla, he said, among other things, that he thinks Gunilla has stolen before. A statement that made Gunilla furious.
The theft charges against Gunilla were later dropped.

So, what really happened when Gunilla Persson caught sight of her nemesis on TV4 this weekend? Well, on Instagram she shares a clip where she can be seen running past the famous criminologist.
“Not exactly the best of friends today on @nyhetsmorgon @tv4 – you might see who it is and as before, a few minutes before, pretended he didn’t recognize me. Felt like going over and talking to him and asking him some questions, but Erika intervened and made me promise not to do it,” writes Gunilla sourly to the clip of her and Leif GW Persson.
In the comment section, Gunilla is met with mixed reactions from her followers, where some wonder why Gunilla ends up in so much drama with other people.
