There are plenty of riders in the tracks in the Vasaloppet and the wet weather makes it crowded. Ski legend Gunde Svan is one of the riders who has dropped over. In SVT’s broadcast, he is heard to say that a rod has gone off in the case and that he needs a new one.
The case for Swan came in conjunction with the 63-year-old trying to help the media profile Filip Dikmen-which is part of a relay team that Svan trained for the competition.
– I fell into the turmoil. But I have got a new rod now that is almost as long as my second, says Svan in the broadcast, Expressen reports.
