Gunde Svan shocks people and walks on water in his new video

Gunde Svan says that nothing is impossible – and he seems to be right.
In a new video on Instagram, he proves that it is possible to walk on water.
“Oh wow that looks scary,” comments one person.

He is the skier and TV presenter who made the entire Swedish people eat oatmeal, watch Prisoners at the Fort and rattle off expressions like: “You get to rest later”, “Nothing is impossible” and “Hurry up, hurry up”. Gunde Swan62, is truly one of Sweden’s greatest sportsmen of all time. In total, he has six Olympic medals (four gold), eleven WC medals (seven gold) and 30 wins in the World Cup on his CV.

Gunde Svan’s new film on Instagram

These days Gunde does some TV work, for example he appears in the program “Kompani Svan” together with Mikael Thornwing. Otherwise, he is mostly at home on the farm in Vansbro spending time with his dear son Ferry Swan28, who competes in Timber Sports. On the farm, they usually do carpentry, saw logs and fix so that Ferry has the best possible training opportunities.

In addition, they are often seen together on social media. They have a joint Instagram account called “gundeochferry” where they post all sorts of clips of each other, when they are talking about something special, showing off something or just fooling around with something. Most recently, Ferry has posted a film sequence of father Gunde walking on water.
“Today the father thinks he can walk on water”, reads the text of the Instagram video.

Gunde Svan scares everyone

The whole thing is, of course, about Gunde moving over a lake that has frozen over, so that there is a thin, upper layer of ice on which he stands and walks. However, it does not look completely stable and several of the followers are annoyed that the skiing legend is so cocky on the ice.
“Oh, oh, that looks scary,” someone comments.
“Can you go forward and read what it says on the red sign in the background?”, someone writes a little annoyed.
“No way!! Preferably half a meter thick!”, comments another.
“Ugh, I don’t dare look,” writes a fourth.
