Four people have been arrested on suspicion of grossly illegal threats at a high school in Varberg.
A student is said to have been threatened, including with a gun-like object, according to the police.
– We will look at what caused the threat, says police spokesperson Fredrik Svedemyr.
The police were called to the school at 2.40pm.
– There are four perpetrators who threatened a student at a high school in Varberg. Among other things, they showed a gun-like object, but also threatened violence, says Fredrik Svedemyr.
When the police arrived at the school, the perpetrators had left. But a moment later, the police were able to locate and arrest all four.
They are now suspected of gross illegal threats.
Police are investigating a motive
There are no reports of anyone being physically injured. Both the plaintiff and the suspected perpetrators are young men between the ages of 17 and 18, according to the police.
It is unclear how many of the suspects were students at the school.
