A bomb and gun attack was carried out on the bar named El Estadio in the city of Celaya in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. It was stated that the attackers entered the bar, opened fire randomly and used homemade explosives that they brought with them in the attack. In the attack, 9 people lost their lives and 10 were injured.
DUE TO THE MUSIC, THEY DETECTED THE ATTACK LATE
Eyewitnesses said that many people in the bar did not hear the gunshots due to the loud music and they noticed the attack late. In the attack, it was stated that a few people who tried to protect themselves by taking cover were injured due to the home-made explosives thrown, while some injured were reported to have survived by pretending to be dead on the ground.
After the incident, the state police and the National Guard were sent to the region, while the attackers fled the scene before the security forces arrived. It was reported that an operation was launched to catch the attackers. (UAV)
