Since Tuesday, August 6, the Ukrainian army has been conducting a military incursion into the Kursk region of Russia. This is the first intrusion into Russian territory since the end of World War II, but while Ukrainian soldiers are pushing deeper into Russian territory, the Russian army continues to nibble away at Donbass, the region in eastern Ukraine that borders Russia.
