Guide to the Lion’s Remembrance achievement, which takes you to Ancient Lion’s Arch

A new collection has been released in Guild Wars 2, through which you can earn a special item. The reward is called “Pride of the Lion” and is a pass that will port you into ancient Lion’s Arch from anywhere. The item is very popular. We tell you how to get it.

What must be done for success? You need to collect a total of six items:

  • Pyro Gear
  • Aetherblade Signet Ring
  • Pavilion Champion Medal
  • Dried Nightmare Thorn
  • Fractured Drive Circuit
  • trace of memory
  • Five of these items are awarded as a reward for completing the relevant Living World Season 1 episode meta-achievement. The final item – the Trace of Memory – is available in the final story mission, Meeting the Zephyrites. There you have to talk to the fog stranger.

    Pyro Gear and Mastery: Flame and Frost

    How do I get the Pyro Gear? For this you have to complete the 12 achievements from the category: Mastery: Flame and Frost:

  • You get five achievements just for completing the story instances.
  • There are two additional achievements for completing the respective fractals of Flame and Frost.
  • Two achievements are related to events in the Diessa Plateau.
  • Only the achievements “A Heart for Ore”, “Fiery Monument” and “Research Study 1” are actually complicated. For these three achievements you have to find hidden things. To go with this, we have a map for you of the “Fiery Blast Furnace” instance from the episode.

  • The red markers are the ores from A Heart for Ore. There you will find all 16.
  • From “Fiery Monument” you will only find memorabilia 1, 3 and 5 (yellow marker) in the instance. The 2 is in the Black Citadel at the Ruins of Rin waypoint, the 4 is in Hoelkbrak at the Wolf’s waypoint, and the 6 is in Lion’s Arch at the Eastern District waypoint.
  • From “Research Study 1” you can find stories 5, 6, 7 and 8 of 8 in the instance. The first three notes can be found in the “New Friends, New Enemies” instance, right on the table in the command room. Note 4 is located at the end of the Battle for Klippstein instance.

    Aetherblade Signet Ring and the Sky Pirate Mastery

    How do I get the Aetherblade Signet Ring? This item requires you to complete 15 achievements related to Sky Pirates, the second episode of Living World 2:

  • You automatically complete the first six achievements with the story.
  • There are two additional achievements for completing the Captain Mai Trin and Aetherblade Sanctuary fractals.
  • Two achievements involve defeating an enemy within a time limit and completing a mission without dying.
  • Two achievements are again related to open world events.
  • The achievements “Research Study 2”, “Tassi Master” and “Valuable Valuables” are a bit tricky, for which you have to find hidden things.

    For Research Study 2 you need to find a total of 6 notes. Notes 3, 4, and 5 can be found in the Aetherblade Refuge story instance (blue marker on the map). Notes 1 and 2 can be found in the dead end bar in the Hardened instance. Note 6 can be found in the Dead End Bar in the If Completed instance.

    For the achievement “Salvage of Valuables” you need to find five chests in the Aetherblade Sanctuary. We have marked them with red markers.

    Pavilion Champion’s Medal and the Mechanical Chaos Mastery

    How do I get the Pavilion Champion Medal? This item requires you to complete 13 achievements related to the Mechanical Chaos episode:

  • You get five of these achievements automatically by completing the story instances.
  • You get an achievement for completing the dungeon “Aetherpath in the Twilight Garden”.
  • Two achievements are related to events in Gendarran Fields.
  • The achievements “Research Study 3″, Research Log 1” and “Prey of Chaos” are particularly difficult, for which you have to find hidden things.

    Dried Nightmare Thorn and the Tower of Nightmares mastery

    How do I get the Dried Nightmare Thorn? This item requires you to complete 15 achievements in the episode Tower of Living World Nightmares Season 1:

  • You automatically complete six of these successes with the story.
  • To achieve this, you must complete the Thaumanova Reactor fractal.
  • For an achievement you must defeat the new twisted puppet.
  • Two achievements are related to events in the Tower of Nightmares.
  • The achievements “Research Study 4”, “Research Recording 2” and “Tower of Treasures” are tricky here, for which you have to find hidden things.

    Fractured Drive Circuit and the Battle for Lion’s Arch mastery

    How do I get the Fractured Drive Circuit? This item requires you to complete 18 achievements related to the Living World Season 1 episode “The Battle of Lion’s Arch”:

  • You complete the first eight achievements simply by playing the story.
  • Achievement revolves around you completing the new assault mission, Storm Knight Prototypes.
  • Two achievements revolve around you completing events during the Battle of Lion’s Arch.
  • The Achievements “Research Study 5”, “Research Recording 3”, “Hunter of the Lost Parts II”, “To the exit please this way” and “No betting here” are particularly complicated here. All of these achievements require you to find hidden items.

    This map shows you the NPCs that you have to find in the instance “Escape from Lion’s Arch” for the two achievements “To the exit please this way” (red) and “No bets here” (blue). Important: For the first success, you must also find any moa from the blue markings. However, you can also complete both achievements at the same time.

    How do I get the Trace of Memory? This item requires you to enter the final instance of the Battle for Lion’s Arch chapter. It is called “Meeting the Zephyrites”. There you have to talk to the fog stranger who awaits you at the end of the instance.

    Once you have completed all these tasks, you can visit old Löwenstein again.
