TV4 will broadcast all the weekend’s competitions via TV4, TV12 and TV4 Play. The constant elements will be the presenter Frida Nordstrand, the expert Carl Hedin, and the commentator Jessica Ortiz Bergström. In addition, there are also separate experts in jumping (Stephanie Holmén), dressage (Marina Mattsson), eventing (Ludwig Svennerstål), four team (Johan Dengg) and Icelandic horses (Jenny Mandal). The competitions begin on Thursday evening and then continue until Sunday evening. The venue for the Sweden International Horse Show is the Friends Arena, with a capacity for 50,000 spectators. Hemmahoppen Sweden has a proud equestrian tradition and when the world’s elite gather in Solna during the weekend, there are once again several Swedish chances of victory. Among the names that stand out is, of course, the reigning Olympic champion Malin Baryard Johnsson, who will compete in the international show jumping, a discipline where, among others, the profiles Peder Fredricson and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson will also start. Last year, Top 10 Indoor Eventing premiered on the schedule and then Maxime Livio won – a hundredth ahead of Frida Andersén, and the Swede is really hungry for revenge ahead of Thursday’s qualifiers and a possible final on Sunday evening. International stardom The weekend’s competitions become a gathering place for several of the world’s absolute biggest stars. Among the names that stand out is the American Jessica Springsteen (daughter of Bruce), who is one of the sport’s absolute biggest future names. Among other things, Springsteen was part of the American team that lost the Olympic gold to Sweden after re-jumping in Tokyo 2021 and will be in the starting field for the international jumping. Springsteen will try to help the Swedes to victory in the international show jumping. At the same time, stars such as Maxime Livio and world number three Boyd Martin will start in Top 10 Indoor Eventing, where they will try to put sticks in the wheel for Frida Andersén and Sofia Sjöborg. In the Lövsta Top 10 Dressage class, the German world number one Jessica von Bredow-Werndl also chooses to come back to Stockholm to defend the title, which she has won in the last two years. Among other things, she has competition from the Danish world number three Isabell Werth, who won a silver at the EC last fall.
