The Sámi Melodifestivalen, which also goes by the name Sámi Grand Prix, is arranged in Kautokeino during Easter every year since 1990. It was first an addition to the Sámi Easter Festival.
In 2024, SVT is co-producer of the competition and in connection with that, the competition has changed its name to Sami Melodifestivalen on the Swedish side. This also means that this year you can vote in Melodifestivalen’s official app.
