Guatemala votes this Sunday, June 25 to elect, among other things, a president, who may be a president. In the trio of favorites, two women rub shoulders with the ex-diplomat, Edmond Mulet. They are Sandra Torres, the former first lady and Zury Rio, the daughter of a former dictator. But it is without enthusiasm that the population will go to the polls. The campaign was marked by the ousting of several candidates by decried electoral institutions.
