GTA Online launches insane heist challenge with mysterious gift

The Heist Challenge for 2022 has started in GTA Online. We’ll show you what the goal is, why it’s worth it and how much money you can make in Heists right now.

What is this challenge? In the past few weeks, various bonuses have been launched in GTA Online that revolve around robberies. Everywhere there was a lot of money and rewards for you. Until recently, even the valuable panther statue was guaranteed at the Cayo-Perico-Heist.

Now the Heist event leads to a huge challenge. How difficult that is and what is behind it, we explain to you here. We will also show you in which heists you are currently earning more money.

The Heist Challenge 2022

This is the task: There was already a similar heist challenge in 2020. In 7 days you should earn 100 billion GTA dollars in heists. As a reward, a short time later each participant was given a car. The community even managed to collect 1 trillion GTA dollars.

Now, in 2022, the team wants more from you. To be precise: double! You should earn 2 trillion GTA dollars in Heists and have another week to do so. This is a community goal that all participants contribute to online.

What’s the reward? That’s not clear yet. Rockstar Games states that completing the goal will unlock a “special reward” that will be released later this year. In December 2020, this was the reward for the Heist Challenge.

How much time do you have? You have until November 30th to do your part towards the community goal. It doesn’t matter which heist you play. If you’re looking for money, check out our overview of all Heists and their cash rewards. But keep in mind that there are currently heist bonuses that spit out double money on certain heists. We will show you the overview in the next section.

  • All Classic Heists setup missions award Double GTA$ and RP
  • All Doomsday Heist setup missions award 1.5x GTA$ and RP
