GTA 6 is probably the most anticipated game in recent years. A leak now talks about new gameplay mechanics that want to increase realism, but players may not like it as much.
What mechanics should there be? In the previous GTA parts, the player was a walking gun cabinet. Regardless of whether it was pistols, rocket launchers or miniguns, you could easily conjure everything up out of nothing.
As current leaks suggest, this aspect could change in GTA 6. In order to improve the realism in GTA 6, you should only be able to carry a limited number of weapons with you. The remaining part of one’s own arsenal should then be transported using other methods.

Fewer weapons for more realism
As Rockstar Universe reports on x.com, the weapon inventory should be similar to Alan Wake 2 or Red Dead Redemption 2. In Red Dead Redemption 2 you can only carry 4 weapons with you, the rest are stored in the horse’s saddlebag. In GTA 6, this system could work with trunks in cars.
Rockstarintel.com also confirmed these leaks on x.com. Such a change could change the dynamics of battles and missions in GTA. Users react differently to these leaks:
Some users would find a new dynamic interesting, while for others the option would be incredible as it would defuse the series’ beloved chaos.
Of course, all of this information should be treated with caution. It is not known where the leaks get their information from and the first trailer didn’t show anything about the game’s gameplay. But it will be a while before the game comes out.
