(Finance) – The British pharmaceutical company GSK announced that he had confidential settlement reached in Cantlay/Harper case filed in California state court. The case, which was due to begin trial on November 13, 2023, will be dismissed.
The company also has solved the three remaining “bellwether cases” regarding breast cancer in California. GSK will be removed from these cases, removing all related preliminary hearings for the company.
The agreements “reflect the company’s desire to avoid distractions linked to the prolongation of the dispute GSK admits no liability in the settlements and will continue to defend itself vigorously on the basis of facts and science in all other Zantac cases.”
