The Green Youth of the Green Youth Party wants to see Janine Alm Ericson as a new female spokesperson, reports Sveriges Radio’s Ekot. She is the party’s economic policy spokesperson.
– We see that Janine is the one who is closest to us politically, says Rebecka Forsberg, spokesperson for the youth association.
Ericson is one of three candidates to take over the position of spokesperson after Märta Stenevi. The other two are former culture minister Amanda Lind and Annika Hirvonen, first deputy group leader for MP in the Riksdag.
The party will choose Stenevis’ successor on April 28.
