Grill? Do not forget this – otherwise it may start to burn

Grill Do not forget this otherwise it may start

The summer has so far offered both high summer heat and substantial low pressure. Earlier this week, several warnings were issued for thunder, rain and flooding.

In Jönköping, the E4 was forced to close when the water levels became so high that cars were completely stuck.

In an earlier interview with News24 told SMHI’s meteorologist if and if so when the heat could possibly be back.

– As it looks now, there is no stable high pressure that will take over and give clear blue skies for a longer period of time during the next ten days. But there will be days when it will be both sunny, warm and dry again.

Something that, after all, belongs to summer, perhaps above all during holidays, is grilling – regardless of the weather.

During June, July and August, it is not unusual to feel the smell of freshly grilled food in the neighbourhood.

However, what you choose to grill with is a water dispenser. One wants charcoal while others prefer to grill with LPG.

For some, however, it is not possible to grill with either coal or LPG. If you live in an apartment, the only option, if you have a balcony, is to use an electric grill.

The risk of flames breaking out is of course not as great when you do not use a grill with an open flame. However, there are several things you still need to keep in mind, even when grilling with an electric grill.

We in villa outline three primary things you must not miss. The risk it can otherwise entail is major damage to the home, and can also cause you major damage.

  • The grill must be preheated for a while before you put the food on it. The cord must not be too close to the heat source.
  • Don’t forget to use only grounded electrical outlets when plugging it in.
  • Never pour water on the electric grill if the plug is plugged in.
  • If any of this happens, you run the risk of causing a short circuit, which could lead to a fire.
