14 villages will compete for the title of “French favorite village” this year 2024, on the occasion of the 12th edition of the eponymous program on France 3. “True pearl” of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region according to France Televisions, Grignan is a small village in the Drôme Provençale worthy of a postcard setting, surrounded by lavender fields, vineyards and olive trees. Its steep streets lead to its vast Renaissance-style castle, made famous by the Marquise de Sévigné, during visits to her daughter.
