The Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg is on tour in Europe.
First, Thunberg participated in the extensive protests in the German mining village of Lützerath, which ended with her being taken away by the police – on two different occasions.
Then the Swedish world star steered on towards Switzerland and Davos and the World Economic Forum conference.
Once there, Thunberg spared no expense when she addressed the world leaders.
The gist: that we listen to people who are destroying our planet instead of listening to everyone who lives in the midst of the ongoing climate crisis.
– You prioritize your own greed, companies’ desire for profit and short-term financial gains, she said.
