There have been some attention-grabbing climate actions recently. An example is when several people sat on E4 near Karolinska University Hospital and blocked the morning rush hour. How far is it okay to go to save the climate?
— It is difficult to put everything under one roof, but if you want to talk overall, you can say that people are very desperate. It’s a wonder we haven’t seen more things like this before. People will try their hand at it and the longer it goes on, people will become more desperate, says Greta Thunberg in Nyhetsmorgon.
Jenny: Are you worried that there will be too much conflict?
— If I say something, people often interpret it as me speaking for the entire climate movement. I am only ONE part of ONE movement that makes up the climate movement, she says.
It is now four years since she started her school strike for the climate and a lot has happened. But not enough.
— Emissions in 2022 are expected to still increase globally. It says quite clearly that we are rushing in the wrong direction, she says.
