Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg participates in the school strike for the last time on Friday.
Thunberg, 20, announces the matter on the messaging service Twitter. The activist says that he will graduate today, so he will stop participating in school strikes.
Thunberg says that when she started the school strikes in 2018, she didn’t think it would lead to anything. However, during 2019, school strikes held on Fridays for the climate grew into a global phenomenon.
Thunberg says that she will continue her activism for the climate in the future as well.
