Greenlandic party leader about Trump unacceptable

The leaders of the Greenlandic parties condemns in a joint statement US President Donald Trump’s willingness to take over Greenland.

“We – all party leaders – cannot accept the recurring statements about annexation and control of Greenland,” writes the leaders of the five parties in Greenland’s parliament on social media.

“As a party leader, we see this as an unacceptable behavior towards friends and allies in a defense alliance.”

Greenland is a self-governing part of NATO member Denmark.

“Enough is enough”
