(Telestock) – Italian Railway Network (FS Group) has awarded to Edison Energy the race from 64 million euros for the supply of 100 GWh of electricity per year and for which “green” certification has been requested in order to guarantee its origin from renewable sources. The supply – RFI informs in a note – will be destined for offices, technological premises, stations and other fixed installations throughout the national territory.
The award – as stated in the note – is part of the broader framework of RFI’s strategies, actively engaged in reduce environmental impact of its energy supply system, aimed at the progressive decarbonisation of electricity consumption and the reduction of energy dependence through projects for the production of energy from renewable sources.
