Greek Parliament Armaments Commission Approves Purchase of 20 F 35 Fighter

According to the news of Greece’s State Agency AMNA, Minister of Defense Nikos Dendias presented proposals to the Parliamentary Armament Commission regarding the evaluation of participation in the program for the purchase of 20 F-35s and the construction of Constellation type frigates.

Minister Dendias argued that F-35 military aircraft will increase the country’s deterrent power.

Dendias claimed that if the decision to participate in the program to build the Constellation frigate in Greece is made, this frigate will also be an important force for the Hellenic Navy. Dendias’ proposal for the F-35 and Constellation frigates was accepted by the majority vote in the Commission. (AA)This content was published by Metin Yamaner
