More than 260 firefighters are still fighting the flames on Sunday, for the sixth consecutive day, on the tourist island of Rhodes. The relief carried out “the largest evacuation operation ever carried out in Greece”, they believe. They would be nearly 20,000 in total to have had to be moved.
