According to the reports in the Greek media, the 16th Rafale fighter jet was received by the Greek delegation in France on 27 June and brought to Tanagra Air Base near the capital Athens.
Greece, which ordered 18 Rafale F3R fighter jets from France in 2020, later requested an additional 6 Rafale.
THEY WILL BUY 40 UNITS
The first Rafale was delivered to the Greek Air Force in July 2021. Greece aims to procure 40 Rafale fighter jets by 2025. During the delivery period, Greek pilots will continue their training in Greece and France. (AA)
