At least 10 people were killed and at least four missing in the storm Daniel, which caused the worst flooding in Greek history. The unrecognizable cities of Volos, Larisa, Kardica, Trikala and their villages are under water. Some villages were virtually erased from the map. In some places, sea and land merged. Roads and bridges collapsed. Hundreds of people trapped in their flooded homes are still waiting to be rescued. Water and food can be delivered to them by inflatable boats. Hundreds of houses and workplaces suffered major damage. Hundreds of vehicles were dragged in the water. Dozens of settlements were evacuated as a precaution.

Parts of central Greece have been in darkness for days. The biggest concern is the overflow of the Pinion river, which drains rainwater from the region and flows through the city of Larisa. In this case, hundreds of buildings will be flooded. The water level in Pinion exceeded 10 meters yesterday. The most fertile plains of Greece are located in this region. Everything is under water.
