Greece: economic aid implemented after the earthquakes around Santorini

Greece economic aid implemented after the earthquakes around Santorini

In Greece, since the end of January, the maritime area near the island of Santorini, in the Cyclades archipelago, has been agitated by thousands of earthquakes of low intensity. Despite the absence of damage, the majority of the 16,000 residents and seasonal workers from Santorini left the island as a precaution. The Greek authorities announced on Sunday, February 16, the first economic support measures for employees in the tourism sector.
