Greece continued its winning streak in the Huuhkajie group in the soccer Nations League.
Greece continues with a clean game at the top of the Huuhkajie group in the B level of the soccer Nations League. On Sunday, Greece defeated Ireland 2–0 (0–0) and has won all four of its autumn matches.
Anastasios Bakasetas gave Greece the lead in the 48th minute and Petros Mantalos was responsible for the second goal, which came in extra time of the match.
Greece and England decide the victory of the group. Greece have a three-point lead over England ahead of the final games in November. England beat Finland 3–1 (1–0) at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
Finland continues to be in the zero club as the group’s jumbo and is thus in danger of falling to the C-League. The third in the group is eliminated from its place in the B-League, but the fourth-placed team is relegated directly to the C-League.
