Already on the first day, two of Tre Kronor’s matches in the home World Cup and the final sold out and another three matches sold out.
A total of 100,000 tickets have already been sold.
The tickets for the ice hockey World Cup in the Globe (Avicii arena) were released on Thursday and six games are already sold out.
100,000 sold
These are Tre Kronor’s matches against Finland and Canada, the semi-finals, the bronze medal match and the final, according to a press release from the WC organizer.
“The pressure is huge now and some matches are completely sold out, but there are tickets left for some of Tre Kronor’s matches and we will also release more tickets later. It could be about tickets that are currently booked by partners that we can make available to the public,” says Tony WirehnCEO of the Ice Hockey World Cup 2025 in Stockholm.

A total of 100,000 tickets have been sold, including advance purchases for members of the Tre Kronor supporters’ club.
The Ice Hockey World Cup will be played in Sweden and Denmark from 9–25 May next year. Sweden is the main organizer and in Stockholm the matches in Sweden’s group, two quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the medal matches are played.
Herning in Denmark will be the venue for the second group as well as two of the quarter-finals.
