Director Renny Harlin is also responsible for Die Hard 2 and knows how to bring big action to the screen. Deadly Christmas is definitely entertaining and received mostly positive reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, fans and critics agree with one Rating of around 70 percent. There the film is described as clever and perceptive. Above all, the exaggerated action makes up for what is lacking in accuracy.
