The shooter “Gray Zone Warfare” is the great hope for Tarkov fans. Now you can finally see more of the gameplay.
What kind of game is this? Gray Zone Warfare is a tactical shooter with extraction mechanics and PvE and PvP that is scheduled to appear in early access on Steam in 2024.
Overall, Gray Zone Warfare is characterized by realism and relies on an appropriate graphic style, real weapon models and believable movement sequences. You can also get injuries that cause you to bleed or affect your limbs and organs. This makes the shooter particularly interesting for fans of Escape from Tarkov.
Gray Zone Warfare is currently hosting a closed alpha test to which Twitch streamers and YouTubers have been invited. Only PvEvP is playable during testing. In the future you should be able to choose between PvEvP, PvP and PvE in different modes.

Gray Zone Warfare has a special unique selling point
What makes Gray Zone Warfare different? In other extraction shooters like Escape from Tarkov, you lose your equipment and loot when you die. With death the raid is over. In Gray Zone Warfare you have the chance to get your inventory back.
A raid has no time limit. For each run you start at your base, which is outside the critical zone. You then get into a helicopter and fly into the operational area with a cutscene. When you arrive at the landing point, you leave the helicopter and roam the map.
If you have died, you can get back into the helicopter and walk to the place of your death. Your body, including all your equipment, remains where the fatal bullet hit you. So if no other player has taken your possessions, you can easily pick up the lost items again.
In addition, a raid in Gray Zone Warfare has no time limit. So you can jump into battle again and again and get your equipment back like in a survival game. There is also no time limit when completing quests and extracting.
