Before the third lap, Grant shared the lead with the Dutch Anne van Dam. Soon the lead was lost to Grant after a bogey on the first hole and another on the sixth.
But the 23-year-old from Helsingborg would come again. Soon she had found her style again on the historic major course Evian Resort Golf Club in France.
There were no more bogeys and on hole 9 came the first birdie of the day. Three more followed and Grant finished two shots under par for the day.
In total, the Swede is -9 before Sunday’s conclusion. That means sole lead, two strokes ahead of van Dam and the home jump Celine Herbin.
A further two strokes behind is Johanna Gustavsson in shared fifth place. Gustavsson was on her way to a great round before a double bogey on the 15th hole stopped her and she had to settle for a 68.
