Collect a yellowed cutting board
If you are a fan of plastic cutting boards, you must have noticed that they turn yellow quickly. Instead of throwing them away and replacing them, you can try to restore their whiteness with this effective trick:
- Let your cutting board dry;
- Rub it with coarse salt;
- Put hot water, then scrub with a sponge or brush.
Good to know: dedicate a cutting board for fruits and vegetables and another for meat and fish.
