Grand Erie Public Health is Investigating An Additional Three confirmed Cases of Measles in Norfolk County.

There are Currently 19 Confirmed Cases (Three Adults and 16 Children) in the Grand Erie Region, Which Includes Haldimand County, Norfolk County, Brantford, and Brant County.
All Confirmed Cases Are Currently Recovering at Home. The source infection is unknown.
The Health Unit is Investigating and Following Up With Known Contacts Who May Have Been Exposed To The Measles Virus Through These Individuals.
The Investigation has Determined That Those at The Following Locations May Have Been Exposed To The Virus:
- Walsingham Christian School, 6th RD concession, Walsingham, Jan. 20 to 21, from 8 am to 5 pm
- Houghton Public School, RR #5, Langton, Jan. 21, from 8:30 am to 5:05 pm
- Lasalette Old Colony School, 71 La Salette RD, La Salette, Jan. 21 to 22, from 8:30 am am to 5:30 pm and Jan. 24, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Delhi Community Health Center Walk-in Clinic, 105 Main St. Delhi, Jan. 23, from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm
- Langton Arena, 30 Albert St., Langton, Jan. 25, from 3 pm to 7 pm
- Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, Emergency Department, 167 Rolph St., Tillsonburg, Jan. 25, from 9 am to 1 pm and Jan. 26 to 27, from 10:37 pm to 12:45 am
- Woodstock General Hospital, Emergency Department, 310 Juliana Dr., Woodstock, Jan. 27, from 10:41 am to 1:15 pm
- Norfolk General Hospital, Emergency Department, 365 W St., Simcoe, Jan. 27, from 9:10 am to 11:30 am am

Grand Erie Public Health is one of Ontario’s Public Health Units. It formed in January when the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit and Brant County Health Unit Merged.
