Ben Ahmar Koné, a former Ivorian student who has taken refuge from Ukraine in France for almost two years, has just decided to return to Ivory Coast after fleeing Ukraine under bombs more than a year and a half ago, and having risked his life to validate his diploma by returning to Ukraine, still at war. The young doctor, whose diploma is not recognized in France – Ukraine is not part of the European Union – has packed his bags for his return to his native country.
