In Tel Aviv, Israel’s capital, demonstrators who wanted to protest the attempts of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to “weaken the judiciary” and the far-right policies gathered in Kaplan Street and Habima Square.
SHOWS ARE ORGANIZED THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY
The demonstrators chanted slogans with banners reading “We will die and we will not accept the dictatorship” and “We will change the government, you have fallen into the wrong generation”. After the protests, the city’s main streets were closed to traffic, while demonstrations were held across the country, including in Jerusalem, Haifa and Be’er Sheva. (UAV)
