The remaining two ferries will soon run shuttle services to and from the mainland – all so that travelers will not be stranded on the island for too long.
– During this week now, we are producing 13 extra trips from night to Tuesday to be able to transport the remaining ones, says Marcus Risberg, CEO of Destination Gotland.
The freight that should have been shipped with the broken ferry Drotten has also been rebooked, but there can be priorities, says Marcus Risberg.
The shipping company has also investigated the possibility of leasing a vessel from another shipping company, but it has not been possible to resolve it.
