The Maritime and Air Rescue Society, the Coast Guard and the helicopter have had an effort after an accident with a battle boat outside Rörö in the Gothenburg archipelago.
– What I have got to me is that it is a battle boat that has run on the ground, says Fredrik Strömbäck at the Swedish Maritime Administration to TV4 News.
The alarm arrived after eight o’clock on Tuesday evening.
– We have evacuated everyone on board. Now everyone is ashore and our efforts are completed.
There were four people on board and all have been taken to hospital for control and care, says Johanna Frejme, communications manager at Älvsborg’s amphibious regiment.
According to TT, a person must be seriously injured.
“Doctors have made an assessment in place,” says Jonas Franzén, press spokesman at the Swedish Maritime Administration, to the news agency.
The accident occurred during an exercise within the Swedish Armed Forces Boat Driver training as a combat boat driver, says Johanna Frejme.
– At present, we are trying to form an idea of the situation, she says.
