Samuelsson has been a songwriter and artist for 34 years and toured with the moped tour for 30 years, in total he has released 17 albums.
– It was amazing. It came like a bolt from the blue and gives me a boost in my continued work, he says in an interview to the society’s member newspaper Poste Restante.
The award will be presented at Ferlindagen in Filipstad on July 22. The Ferlin prize went this year to the poet Marie Lundquist, Stockholm.
