He also has a past at the Gothenburg City Theater, and that is where he met his wife Carina Boberg 1985.

– It was when my wife got sick with cancer and later passed away. It was extremely painful for her, it took 15 months. I was with me all the time and adapted my life to it. Some start working extra much and there are even those that differ. But for me it was obvious from day one that I had to change and be there for my wife until the end. You do not leave a friend and companion in the stick, you just don’t. You do everything you can to facilitate during the illness, Göran Ragnerstam told the newspaper.
