Google’s mapping app has multiple handy features for displaying maps and directions. But it also has a super hidden zoom that allows you to see details with incredible precision.

You all know Google Maps, this essential application for finding your way around and finding your way. If you use it regularly, you already know that it offers several types of view (map, satellite, relief, etc.) and many practical tools for establishing a route, finding a restaurant and even exploring streets as if you were there. All this while allowing you to juggle different levels of detail thanks to its zoom, usable with small buttons or a mouse wheel.

But did you know that it also hides a super zoom that allows you to see even more elements, even small ones? This is the “super zoom” of Google Maps, a secret function that allows you to display plans with a new level of detail!

To activate this super zoom, you must use a simple trick by modifying the URL (Internet address) of the displayed map. First, open Google Maps on your computer and switch to Satellite view, by clicking on the small thumbnail at the bottom left of the map, then find the place you want to explore. Next, look at the URL displayed at the top in the address bar. The trick is to modify this by adding specific code after the @ symbol. It is the group of numbers that follows that must be modified. It represents the coordination between the center of the image and the size of the desired image section. The number and letter after the last decimal place indicate the size in meters of the displayed image section.

Let’s take an example. If you want to zoom in on the Eiffel Tower, the URL looks something like this: “https://www.google.com/maps/place/Tour+Eiffel/@48.8579336,2.2935627,875m…” In this for example, the number to modify is 875. Decrease it to zoom in further, for example by indicating 100 or 25. And enjoy the result! With Google Maps super zoom, you can explore places like never before. Observe construction sites up close, spot parking spaces or admire the architecture of buildings in every detail.

Be careful, however, with some limitations. First, Google Maps super zoom is not available for all locations. Second, image quality can vary greatly depending on the area you are exploring. Finally, this trick may not work on all devices.

Whether you’re a budding traveler or just curious, Google Maps’ super zoom is a valuable tool that will allow you to discover the world from a new perspective. Google Maps Super Zoom is a great tool that lets you see Earth like never before. Don’t hesitate to use it to explore the world with incredible precision!
