Google will soon make non personalized searches easier

As more and more web searches are now personalized for users, Google will install an option to deactivate this option more easily.

Did you know? When you search using Google, chances are you won’t get the same results as your neighbor who is doing the same search. The explanation for this phenomenon is simple: Google searches are personalized according to your browsing habits. Do you have one or more favorite sites? Google will notice this by analyzing your various data collected and will often try to favor said sites during your searches.

However, personalized searches can be a hindrance for many users who want real results during their searches and not sites they already consult every day. This is why Google is reportedly working on a new option to make non-personalized searches more accessible to users.

The site SearchEngineRoundtable observed that some searches now offered an option to perform the same search as previously performed, but without customization.

However, if you do the test at home with your mobile, it is possible that the bottom of your search pages already indicates that the results are not personalized. Otherwise, Google will now offer you to try the same query without customization.

Ned Adriance, representative at Google, spoke on this subject in particular to clarify that “non-personalized requests remain temporary” which indicates that you will sometimes have to click again on the option at the bottom of your queries if you wish to find a search without personalization.
