Google Releases Stable Version of Chrome for ARM Processors

Google announced that it has started to release the stable version of Google Chrome, optimized for computers using ARM processors. More specifically, Google has hinted that it has made the latest version of its web browser that runs much faster and smoother on the upcoming Snapdragon X Elite processor. This benefits not only Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Book 4 laptop with the Snapdragon X Elite chip, but also existing Galaxy Book laptops with previous-generation Snapdragon chips.

Stable version of Google Chrome is coming

The new version of Google Chrome optimized for ARM and Snapdragon X Elite processor is now available for download. Google and Qualcomm worked closely on this optimization and they say it offers a dramatic performance increase. The ARM-optimized version of Google Chrome has been in beta testing since January 2024, and people who tested it on computers with ARM-based processors and Windows 11 operating system reported significant performance improvements in terms of fluency and speed.
