The Russian occupation regime in the so-called People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk has blocked Google in the areas.
“We have made a decision to block Google on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” writes Denis Pushilin, leader of the Russian-backed separatist movement Donetsk People’s Republic. He accuses Google of promoting “violence against Russians, especially the people of Donbass”.
In Luhansk, Google was blocked on Thursday.
According to Denis Pushilin, the West and Ukraine are creating “unprecedented pressure on physical and psychological security” in the area.
