After a canceled 2020 edition and a virtual-only 2021 edition, Google is returning to a more classic format for I/O 2022. The event will take place May 11-12 at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, Calif. a limited number of spectators, mainly members of Google and partners.
It can also be followed virtually, on the Youtube channel and on the Google site. The latter currently displays an amazing clock that indicates the time remaining before the start of the event.
At the moment, Google has not revealed the announcements that were going to be made during Google I/O 2022, but it is very likely that the Android 13 operating system will be detailed. Google should on this occasion launch the first public beta of its new OS.
Google could also mention its Pixel Watch connected watch, as well as its Pixel 6a smartphone. Finally, a new version of Wear OS could be unveiled, as well as new functions for Google Photos and Google Assistant.
