Google finally launches a mobile version of Notebooklm, its free online tool capable of synthesizing dozens of sources and documents for you. You will be able to take this incredible AI assistant everywhere with you!

Since the race for artificial intelligence began at the end of 2022 with the launch of Chatgpt, Google has been trying to integrate Gemini, his everything to do everything, with absolutely all his services in order to show that he is the undisputed king of AI. And, as much as some functions may seem anecdotal, as some tools are simply amazing. This is the case with Notebooklman online service of notes animated by artificial intelligence capable of synthesizing dozens of sources and documents (see our full article).

The application, completely free and available in French, is presented as an online service allowing to generate notes from sources selected by the user: PDF files, Google Docs (or Office Converts) documents, and even full web pages. It is very simple, any resource containing text and images can be integrated into a notebooklm notebook. Once the documents are collected, the user can explore them, synthesize them and reformulate them in natural language by relying on Gemini, the big model of Google language, and many other things. In short, it is one of the best IA products from Google! And, good news, it is finally available in the form of free application on iOS and Android, via the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Notebooklm: interactive podcasts accessible at any time

The mobile version of Notebooklm includes many functions already present in the computer version of the software. Google announces in His blog post that improvements and other options will arrive in the coming months. The tool allows in particular to generate podcasts from notes and documents. With this mobile version, users can listen to them in the background, as they would with a traditional podcast application. Better still, these content generated are accessible out of line.

The Android and iOS versions of notebooklm also offer, in beta version, to exchange directly with the “presenter” AI, by asking questions or by orienting the subject for example. This transforms passive listening into active session, which is a real plus. Finally, during the visualization of a website, a PDF or a YouTube video on the device, an icon allows you to send this content directly to a notebook, whether it already exists or that it is specially created for the occasion. This greatly simplifies the collection of information!
