Google changes (very subtly) the icon of Chrome

Google changes very subtly the icon of Chrome

It may be a detail for you, but for Google it means a lot. The Mountain View company discreetly changed the icon of its web browser, which had not changed since 2014.
Let’s be honest, if the officiating designers on Google Chrome hadn’t pointed out the changes made, the “new design” of the browser icon would most likely have gone unnoticed.

The deployment of this new icon, which has obviously started within the Canary channel, should gradually arrive on all devices very soon. If the eyes of ordinary mortals do not see much change, the most experienced will perhaps realize the disappearance of shadows, work on the proportions of the different elements making up the icon and, probably the most obvious , the use of brighter colors.

One of the designers who worked on this new icon explained in a Twitter thread very comprehensive all the subtleties of the changes made to this new icon, even going so far as to detail the variations on each operating system.
