The TV veteran Good times Bad Times is an absolute long-running hit on RTL with over 8,000 episodes. Since the streaming era, the daily soap has also been extremely popular on RTL+. So it’s no wonder that the broadcaster keeps trying to expand the GZSZ multiverse and reach new target groups. Now a series about cool kids is supposed to inspire young fans. This is what is known about the new GZSZ spin-off.

RTL announces new GZSZ spin-off: Filming of Uferpark – Good Times, Wild Times has begun

The production company UFA has announced in a press release that filming has begun for the fifth spin-off of Good Times, Bad Times. Like the parent series, the production will be shot in Berlin.

SUPER RTL CEO Thorsten Braun reveals that they have big plans for the series spin-off for young people:

The production of a new live-action series in the GUTE ZEITEN, SCHULECHTE ZEITEN universe is something very special for SUPER RTL. Together with RTL+ and UFA, we want to create a series that benefits from the enormous appeal of the GZSZ brand and is aimed specifically at older kids with topics such as sport, music and first love. The focus of the story is a cool clique of six young people who live in Berlin and regularly meet at an abandoned skate park. Growing up in the capital is no picnic, however. First love, bullying and fears about the future can be scary at times, but with your best friends, any hurdle can be overcome.

These are the kids from Uferpark:

  • Yunis (Victor Bass): He is a young rapper and has secret feelings for his girlfriend Amina.
  • Amina (Tanaz Molaei): Secretly, she has a great singing voice, but no one knows yet that there is a singer slumbering within her.
  • Ben (Salimou Thiam): He is the newcomer to the group and is having trouble with his old friends. He has to decide who his loyalty lies with.
  • Lea (Maja Merkord): She is a passionate skater and practices daring tricks. But can she live up to her high ambitions?
  • Pepe (Konrad Neidhardt): He dreams of one day becoming successful in business. He already sees himself as the next boss.
  • Milo (Jesse Beyerling): His parents really want him to become world famous as a flute player, but instead of the flute he is more interested in modern music. Will they ever realize that he is suffering under the pressure?

    The series will consist of 26 episodes. An exact broadcast date has not yet been announced, but TV broadcast is planned for autumn. The GZSZ spin-off for kids will be shown on SUPER RTL and RTL+.
